Workdays effort

We're using Schedule8X5 and we need the effort column and its editor to show work days, not 24 h days. It turns out it's very confusing for people that the effort and end date are calculated using 8 hour workdays, but the effort is actually displayed as "24 hour days.hh.mm.ss". How?

Also - this might be a beginner question - but we need to get rid of the minutes and seconds part of the effort, both in the column and in the editor. How?

Magnus,

How would you like to show the effort column in the Gantt? Can you tell us with some example values, and how does it needs to show and behave?
Thanks & Regards,
Rajagopal.

We're coverting it to this format now, using the standard effortToString way: "1 d 5 h". Problem is that 1 d means 24 hours and we need it to be 8. Also the editor should show the same format (or 'd.h' if that's not possible) and take the schedule into account as well. The effort also needs to be displayed in this same format in the popups when hovering over taskbars.

Magnus,

Could you please take a look at our ..Samples/RoundTimesToDay8X5.htm install sample, in that sample we show how to display the effort based on the Schedule.
