What's the recommended way to add and remove sub tasks on-the-fly, just as InsertNewItemAsSiblingBelow works for normal tasks? The implementation you made for us (calling RenderSubTasks() in OnTaskBarLoad) to render sub tasks in GanttControl is quite a hack, so maybe it's not possible at the moment?

Magnus,

Please refer our "GanttControl or FlexyGantt" topic in our UG to get understand the basic things about Gantt.

In "RecurringTasks", everything should be in sample level. So, you can re-render the recurring tasks if it's updated.

For Example:
Code:
// Get the DataSource which need to be add subTasks.
var actView = ganttControl.ActivityViews[index];
var Task = actView.activity.DataSource;
var subTasks = Task.SubTasks;
var subTask = new SubTask();

// Adding subTask to the Task.
subTasks.push(subTask);

// Getting TaskItemControl.
var ganttTaskItemBar = $("td", actView.ChartRow()).data("GanttTaskItemBar");

// Render the SubTasks with the arguments.
RenderSubTasks(Task , ganttTaskItemBar);
Thanks & Regards,
Rajagopal.
